Welcome to Week 6, Sports360 fans! After a nice win on the final game of week 5, and another giggle thanks to the Sports Widow, I’m ready to pick the 3 games coming up on 7 Mate this Monday morning.
I normally wouldn’t bother with the Baltimore Ravens playing in New York against the Giants, but I know there are so many of you that get up at 3 am just for the live taste of the NFL! Both teams are struggling and I can’t promise that it will be an exciting game, but there is some upside here. The Ravens just fired their offensive co-ordinator and the new OC, Marty Mornhinweg, will have something to prove right away. Eli Manning’s history shows he struggles against the Ravens, who still have great defense. Ravens are the value at 2.55 on Luxbet.
The next game at 6:25 am is America’s team, the Dallas Cowboys, visiting the cheese lover’s team, the Green Bay Packers. Aaron Rodgers has still not come back to look like the amazing player that we know he is. The pressure was on last week against the Giants and he squeaked by. The team that really delivered last week was the Dallas Cowboys. Ezekiel Elliott ran by, through and over my Bengals in week 5. It was tough to watch. I do intend on watching them do the same thing to the Packers this week. Another great value here with the Cowboys paying 2.85. If you are a fraidy cat, take them +4.5 (1.95).
The last game on 7 Mate for the morning is the New York Jets at the Arizona Cardinals. I’ve been a bit of a contrarian my last few picks, so I’m going chalk on this one. The Cards are at home on the national stage and their starting quarterback is healthy and in the lineup. The Jets are struggling with a quarterback afraid to throw an interception. Take the Cardinals-7.5 (1.95).
